AI Statement

I never use AI to replace human thought, creativity, or artistic expression.

I never use AI to:

  • Write stories, books, explanations, or practice problems

  • Illustrate

  • Come up with ideas

  • Research facts

  • Write emails

  • Write facebook posts

  • Write newsletters

  • Outline

  • Brainstorm

  • Come up with characters

  • Rewrite my sentences.

(That’s all I can think of at the moment, but that’s not the full list, I’m sure. There are lots of things I won’t use AI for.)

I have tried using AI for these things and may continue to use it for these in the future or I might stop, depending on how things change:

  • Catch typos

  • Technical support (asking it how to do something in a given program I'm using)

  • Write product descriptions

  • Give me feedback on whether an email I wrote is clear, helpful, accurate, and kind

  • As one part of my fact-checking process

  • Give me a list of names from a certain time period

  • Helping with programming the games

  • Programming interactive animations that explain math or physics concepts that are either free on my site or part of a certain game

  • Give me lists of resources related to something I’m working on, where I then go and use those resources

  • I’ve tried it with formatting a few worksheets, but I’m not sure if I’ll keep doing it that way
